Aisha doesn't celebrate, she hardly complains either; which means she’s aware of her accomplishments too. 
     She sits on the couch at the reception hall waiting, with other applicants, for the short listed names to be revealed. They're talking too long to announce their decision. The bidding must be competitive she thought. Aisha feels her pride grows thinking about it. A few years ago, she wouldn't be here. She didn't have the requirements for such a big project and was simply not good enough for it. She smiles, crooked; nervously, feeling both scared and proud at the same time. Aisha never gets use to people’s expectations on her. She is afraid of her shortcomings, and strives hard to overcome them.
