They say identifying a problem is half of the solution. But there is a burden that comes with the revelation. The part they didn’t say is about removing the wedge of ignorance, and unleashing weight of truth to the consciousness. When it comes to vices and unwanted characters, ignorance is bliss and possession of truth is another thing.
I talk to myself a lot, out loud sometimes. Mainly in two forms, either in frustration or in persuasion. In frustration, when I eagerly try to amend my actions. In persuasion, when I calmly address my perceived shortcomings. I’m constantly trying to better my personality. This breeds anxiety whenever I notice a trend that needs to be corrected. Being better has to begin with one’s effort.
