She couldn’t remember when she arrived or how she even got here; maybe it was just a dream. It didn’t matter to her, not really. The performance in front of her had her complete attention at the moment. 

Standing perfectly still, she continued to watch the waters dance around, creating many different shapes like mountains, trees, and a heart - all favorites of hers. So simple in concept, but so deep in their meaning. All stirred memories of hope, dreams, happiness and peace. They were . . . . shadows of her childhood.

She continued to stare in wonderment, and then came to notice the presence of another person. Their reflection was in the mirror in front of her, yet when she turned there was no one to be seen. No one standing close to her. She felt no distress over this curiosity...
