   After dropping Lonny and Duane off at Lonny's house, Dennis drove Alice back down to the south side.

   “The girls sure do like you,” Alice said, putting her hand on Dennis's shoulder.

   “That radio airplay sure does a lot for our popularity,” Dennis said. “If that's any indicator, the record should sell really well,” he said.

   “Sorry you have to drive all the way over the Southside to take me home,” Alice said.

   “Oh, but when can I ever see you alone,” Dennis said. “Between our jobs and school, we don't get much time together.”
