Chapter 12

   “....heel, brush toe, heel...heel, brush toe, heel,” Alice prompted the twelve to fourteen-year-old girls.  “…wiggle right, heel, brush, toe, wiggle left, heel, brush toe, lunge left, back, heel, ball change, lunge right, back, heel ball change, triple right, toe, heel, triple left, toe, heel.”

   Alice noticed the clock was nearing five p.m. “Okay, girls, that's it for today.”

   The young dancers chatted amongst themselves as they found their bags and changed out of their dance shoes and put on their coats.

  “Bye-bye, Miss Shea,” the girls said in turn, as they exited the class into the arms of their mothers who waited in the front room.
