“... all right, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to take a break for station identification,” Clint said, addressing the camera. “Please stay with us for more of the United Cerebral Palsy Telethon in just a moment.”

   The red light on the camera went out and the picture on the monitor faded to an identification card. Clint ambled to the edge of the stage and picked up a glass of water that was on a table. He took a drink.

   Dennis grabbed Alice by the arm and dragged her over. “Clint, this is my girl, Alice,” he said with a big smile. “She's a big fan of yours.”
