Many ask me what we "do" for two months in Paris.  My answer is that "we just live" much like we do at home.  Some days are devoted to housecleaning, laundry, even cooking as we can't afford to eat out every meal.  Other days are full of new discoveries or revisiting special favorites like Montmartre.  Sometimes we are entertaining company and being entertained by our Parisian friends.  

There are some definite differences in daily life here in Paris, however.  It requires tolerance and flexibility!  For example, let's consider the apartment kitchen.  Refrigerators are small because the pattern of life is to shop daily and not stock up for a week.  Ice is at a premium, and we always end up buying yet another ice tray for a ridiculous price.  The...
