DS Vivienne Trubshaw looked at her fellow detective and wondered. Don has been under a hell of a lot of stress lately. He doesn’t have much time left before they bring in the big boys and girls. He’s lost his faith. He has a flakey marriage. He’s wondering what to do about me. Perhaps I should leave sooner, but I am not sure that would help. I need to stay until he goes.
