Series Description:
I've heard lots of different tales of Witches. The ugly, wart-faced, hooked nose kind, the evil spirit-worshiper, and of course, the strangest one I ever heard - that we were descended from Fairies.
I think I like that one the best.
I know these tales well. They are the tales the village children hear and tell each other at night. One day, I walked to the village near our house. It was warm and the smell of honeysuckle coated the air, I could even taste it at the back of my throat. But that's not what I was here for. At the edge of the village, there is a small cove with a waterfall. And in between the mossy rocks there grows the most beautiful flower, with dark purple edges and a deep gold centre.
But wait, perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself here - let me tell you the story from the beginning.
Have you ever heard the tale of a baby promised to a Witch in payment? I was that baby.
But, by mistake or fate, I was promised to two Witches…
