Weeping Willow 

Why does the willow weep 
It has no eyes to leak 
So its branches fall steep 
Such as a tear on a cheek 

Is it alone, does it want to be lonely 
If it could show me, if only, if only 
Its roots are deep down 
Alive it is but lives in the ground 

Willow show me your way 
Show me how I must weep 
Show me your dreams 
Show me in my sleep 

Willow wallow 
Weep, weep, weep
Cry to me 
Let our roots run deep
Willow weep
