Chapter Thirty - Imposter Syndrome

The woman who considered herself to be Berkleigh Harefield as recently as a few moments ago sank to the floor of Dr. Rackstraw’s former office. She could vaguely hear Janelle and Piper speaking to her, but she couldn’t make out what they were saying. Everything she believed to be real, her very identity had just evaporated in the span of a few seconds. 

“Let’s try to work this through - the real Berkleigh Harefield dies on the operating table during her heart transplant surgery. Why would they cover that up to the point of making you believe you were Berkleigh?”
