Chapter Ten - The Ghastly Case of Otto Van Nostrand

The postman banged on the screen door as loudly as he could without being rude. The owner of the home at 1961 Leesburg Circle was a curious one to be sure, and not in a good way. He never seemed to leave his house from what he could tell. The car in the driveway was immaculately kept, but it was always in the same spot. He peered through the window in the gray front door to see if he could detect any movement inside. Suddenly, the door flew open as much as the chain lock would allow. This unexpected action made the postman jump. 

“Yes?” The voice inside demanded, the thick German accent unmistakable. 

“Sorry to bother you. I’ve got a package for you.&rdquo...
