Grimaldi reached his knees as he looked over at the sprawled body weeping mere feet away. 

“Who is coming? What are you talking about?!”

“You don’t realize what you’ve done. He was all that was holding them back…”

“Holding who back?! Stop talking in these vague, ominous…!”

“Something so much worse than him! Now that he’s gone, they’re loose and they’re going to come for us! All of us!!” Piper belted out as, almost on cue, the lights went out. The next few seconds were filled with sounds that did not seem possible to be made with human vocal cords as the mansion of Doyle Grimaldi descended into inhuman chaos.
