“Okay, okay. Let’s cool it. I told you Grimaldi is the best. He’ll have you patched up in no time,” Underbrink reassured Piper, his head nodding incessantly as he spoke. Piper looked at Underbrink then Grimaldi, her face devoid of expression. 

“Let’s have a look at that arm…,” Grimaldi said as he approached Piper. The young woman continued to eye the surgeon as she kept her wounded arm close to her side.
