While she was waiting for paperwork, Cecily sat down and wrote two letters.  It was all she could do not to start sobbing again, but she knew this resolution she made was for the best.  For once in her life, she was making the right decision, and no one could ever sway her from it.

     When the family returned back to Isaac’s room, Cecily had already left.  Caleb suggested she may have had a taxi drive her back to the house.  They all agreed that was most likely where she was, and didn’t give it, or her, a second thought.  They settled in for another few hours of agonizing waiting.  The family was getting used to this, sitting around, second after second, minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day, week after week...
