She thought better of it and held her hand out for him to shake.  He did.  Sarah spoke up.

     “This is your sister, Cecily, Christian.  She’s been gone from our family for a while, but now, she’s back with us,” Sarah smiled.

     Cecily smiled back.  She was full of mixed emotions.  She was happy to be home, ecstatic, but this wasn’t what she was hoping to come home to.  Her daed so sick and everyone at a hospital.

     “Christian can’t stay at the hospital all the time, so I have one of the boys come and get us in the evening, and take us up to see Daed before I come home, and put Christian to bed.”
