The countryside, farms, horses, cows, wagons, and buggies, were all in view, and she stopped and fell down to her knees.  Cecily began to cry.  Heavy sobs shaking her body violently.  A noise came out of her she didn’t know could.  It sounded like a wild, wounded animal, a scream and howl that released unspeakable heart and soul pain, sorrow, hurt, homesickness, loss.  She clutched her heart and lay in the grass, shaking, crying loudly, yelling, hearing her echo come back to her in the vastness of the long grasses, as far as the eye could see, and a cloudless sky, that also stretched across as far as the eye could see.  Farm equipment sounds rumbled afar off and also echoed in the vastness of the long grasses.  A farm was up ahead, how close, she didn’t know.
