They both laughed, Yimmy turned on her side, and fell asleep instantly.

     The next morning, Yimmy was up quick, made breakfast for her and Hans, gobbled it down, and took off for the hospital.

     As she drove, she was nervous and scared about what she might find there.  Would Cecily have gone and taken the baby with her, only to dump the newborn in a trash can, a few miles away, to lay there and starve to death, in her spite that Yimmy not have her baby?  Yimmy tried not to think about everything that could happen, but awful things kept invading her mind.

     When Yimmy got to the hospital, she parked quickly and rushed into the tall and wide building.  She ran to the maternity ward and the nurses’ station there.&nbs...
