Back at work on Monday, Cecily seemed almost back to normal, but she wasn’t.  She was still smarting from her weekend fiasco, and spent Saturday and Sunday recovering from a drunken wine binge.  She came here to escape her roots, and start a new life, but her old life had gotten thrown back at her.  She felt such resentment towards her family for being so odd and making her the same way.  She stuck out like a sore thumb in the world and she hated it!  She was nice, and polite, and all smiles to her customers she encountered during the day, but underneath, in her heart and soul, she was seething rage.  She hated the Amish faith, and community, for keeping her so isolated from the world, keeping her in a prison, from the things she needed to know to functio...
