     “I will look like a fool.  After all this time of courting and how happy everyone was at our announcement.  What you’re doing would not be pleasing to God.  You need to be thinking about what He wants and not what you want.  Our lives are for Him, to glorify Him.  Not doing His will is not glorifying Him.  How could you even think of doing this?  What about your family?  You could be shunned and your family disgraced.”
