The stories you will read in these pages are all true.

They are heartfelt, funny, silly or cringe-worthy, but all snapshots of
happenings we experienced on our travels and memories that make us smile.

For us, travel is more than vacation. It is the truest form of escape. It allows a near complete separation from our current existence and a window into not only the lives of others, but the people we want to become. Travel can be the most profound learning experience, if you allow it to be.

We often return exhausted but thoroughly enriched, and with thousands of
photos to process. Photography is also a love we share, one which has become a third person who joins us on every trip.

These tales (and prologue) are also, as the title suggests, each only written in 200 words. Though it was sometimes challenging to express exactly what we wanted in such a limited space, that was also part of the fun. There is always more to the story.

We hope you gain as much joy from these pages as we did living through
them. If not, maybe this experience will be worthy of a tale for the next book.
